Variation in Ceramic Tiles

One way to wreak your dream home!

Here is the challenge, you view a piece of tile sample and like it very much. You proceed to confirm your purchase and are shoke when installed, not knowing you end up with designs shown in the V4 Tile image. Worse still, the moving in dateline is near while desperation sets in as you try seeking an immediate remedy. Then all hell breaks loose.

We can avoid the above scenario if we know that there are 4 classes of tile variations

Version 1: tiles have a harmonious shade and texture with low, minimal variation.

Version 2: tiles have a slight variation in shade and texture

Version 3: tiles have a moderate variation in shade and texture

Version 4: tiles have a random or substantial variation in shade and texture, to the extent that any piece of tile may be completely different from another tile.

So it is critical if you are going to select tiles for your house to consider which class of tile variation you prefer. If you love the marble or stone effect tile design, it will be of a Version 3 variation, and do not expect the tiles to be consistent and uniform.
